AGM 2024
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 4 December 2024 at the New Inn, 419 Denby Dale Road East, Durkar, Wakefield WF4 3AX at 19:00 for 19:30. Refreshments will be available
All members are invited to attend and are reminded that to vote on any matters arising they will need to have their NASA licence with them on the night.
If anyone has an item that they would like to be put on the Agenda to be discussed and potentially voted on at the meeting this needs to be forwarded by email to Ian Stephenson or Jillian Firth by 27 November 2024 at the latest. Only items on the Agenda can be voted on and changed in or added to the club constitution. Members can however raise Any Other Business on the night. Printed copies of the constitution will be available on the night or can be obtained electronically beforehand by emailing Jillian Firth. The contact details for Ian and Jillian are at the end of this announcement
Several committee positions will become vacant and to be considered for one of these positions the persons name needs to be sent to Ian or Jillian, again by 27 November, and they will need to be proposed and seconded. All the resigning committee members have confirmed that they will be standing for re-election and have been proposed and seconded accordingly. The vacant positions are as follows: Vice Chairman; Assistant Chief Marshall; Assistant Scrutineer; Safety Officer; 2x points co-ordinators; Social Media; Publicity; Drivers Reps (maximum of 4); 4x NY League Reps.
Licence fees for 2025 will be unchanged, dependent on any increases made by NASA, and licences will be available at the New Year social to be held at the New Inn in early January
